Hi! My name is Lynzee,
I am on a mission to support people to grow food through organic and regenerative gardening practices.
My connection to become a professional gardener began when I was apple picking in Tasmania to attain my my second year work visa. While picking, I realized I needed to continue to work outside in nature because it felt so good! I would pick up odd farming jobs to be close to the plants.
In 2016, I felt very sick because my gut was in need of serious repair. Rather than continuing to listen to doctors who wanted to continue to prescribe me medications, I taught myself all about nutrition and started to eat healthy whole foods.
I was finally able to practice gardening when I was hired as a Garden Coordinator at an elementary school and I was hooked! While I'm still a renter who finds myself moving more often than I'd like, I've always found a way to grow something, even if just some herbs on my windowsil.
I notice how much better I feel when I eat homegrown food and I also love how good it tastes. Supporting and watching plants to grow beautiful vegetables has become a great joy of mine and I want to share the experience of homegrown goodness with others.
I am a certified Master Gardener and I hold my Permaculture Design Certificate. I’ve worked on various farms, as a School Garden Coordinator, and as a Landscaper.
I’m excited to guide people to grow food so they can experience the nutritional benefits that homegrown food contains as well as to support folks to feel a deeper connection to the earth and what we eat.
Are you ready to grow?
